Give it an image of the font and it'll identify the font used (and/or those similar to it). Used it a good number of times and it works very well. Now I just need to be able to afford those expensive BitStream fonts...

It's not pay, you just have to make an account to use that part of it. I see no mention of pay anywhere... and you can also log in anonymously.
