Johnny Depp was awesome in POTC, but I didn't see Mystic River so I don't know if Sean Penn really deserved it. I am glad ROTK won all of those awards, but I think Master and Commander should have gotten a bit more than Sound or whatever it got. Maybe set or costumes or something.

You're thinking about this wrong. You can't say "wow, I liked this movie, it should have gotten more awards." You have to look at the field for each award and see which was superior. Of all the awards I saw LOTR win, I think it clearly was better than the competition. Yeah, Master and Commander and The Last Samurai had good costumes, but LOTR was superior to both. Special effects, same. The list goes on. Just because a movie had GOOD costumes or you LIKED it doesn't mean it will win anything.

I thought the movie was boring, i fel asleep on the first one.
