The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly
approved a bill Wednesday to ban lawsuits by obese
customers who say they became overweight by eating
at fast-food restaurants.

What you said is true; you are stupid if you sue McDonald's for its food making you fat. But this bill is wrong. Think about it: you're giving one industry special protection against lawsuits. There's already a law against frivolous lawsuits, so the way they should go about doing this is setting a precedent that these suits will get thrown out without question. Giving special protection to the fast food industry is wrong.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

Sponge is right, by the end of 2004 we will see the demise of the supersize. That will be a sad day in the history of mankind, I for one have taken it upon myself to eat more mcdonalds while it's still here.
If there is anything that needs to be phased out, it's fat people. Which is why we should all resort to the good old days of never ending insults towards them. People should not accept their weights especially when they are unhealthy. Endorse a Pro-Anorexia websight near you, Thin is Beautiful.

Well, there's fat people and fat people.

Me, I'm slightly larger then average. But that's plain and simple genetics: I inherited my grandfather's build. I look exactly like him - and I can change that no more then I can change the color of my eyes.

Then there's the truly obese lardasses. The people who just don't give a fuck and eat at Burger King's seven days a week. While I enjoy a burger once in a while, that's once every three months or so. And I also like Pepsi, but I don't drink liters of it a day.

If you do that, then you definitely deserve a good kicking and a stomach stapling.
