Logic for Lawyers: A Guide to Clear Legal Thinking is a good intro.

"Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them" is actually fraught with fallacies itself, which I find humorous. Actually its title is a great example of the Ad Hominem fallacy.

Brig, good book reference, I might have to get it.

Beyond Feelings: A Guide to Critical Thinking:

Current Issues and Enduring Questions: A Guide to Critical Thinking and Argument With Readings:

I've had to read these two text books for various general ed. classes. They're good books, but I don't endorse them. "Beyond Feelings" is on the heavy side, given it's slim/introductory content. "Current Issues..." is a good book, but it's more of a classroom-aid.

I threw that book Brig recommended on my amazon wishlist. So, does anyone want to buy it for me? I could probably hook you up with some of risque webcam footage of myself....

Hrmm, no takers?
