Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Actually, yeah. The Buddhist faith is rather self-centered, or rather not societally aware.

I'd say that Christianity probably is the best religion to keep the masses in line. What a religion is like now is irrelevant; we have to consider how it was when it first arose, because if it never spread, it wouldn't matter now. Christianity was essentially an effective amalgamation of myths/gods/theology before it and it had a compelling message and moral system. It was exploitable by the powers-that-be(en), but it wasn't completely hijack-able.

It would be stupid to say something like "there's a reason that Christianity is the largest religion in the world," because that "reason" could be defined as anything from its effective crowd-control methods to the power of the cultures that first adopted it. I do, however, think that it is probably the best religion for its place.
