Cool enough..
My friends and I were just talking about making an antimatter gun.. but we figured we could power it by placing one Hot-Pocket sleave inside another, and microwaving it for 10 minutes.
actually, it was an idea for a movie, but still..

A rail gun is just a coiled magnet gun. We made those in highschool physics class. Nothing powerful enough to do anything, but the concept was put to use as an example of electromagnetic force.
I favorite kinds of subatomic particles are Boson superconductive electrons. They spin at the same rate and thus pass electricity through the atom with almost zero impedence.

go research rail guns again...they can be quite powerful
