wtf? Why? Tim Burton is a sick person. What's bad in the old Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder.

I'll have to wait to see it. I hope they've characterized Wonka as well as they did in the version with Gene Wilder.

No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive their garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. No, I've never seen that.

Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

First movie trailer I watched since Timeline (movie sucked). Looks very nice ... gotta remember the line about the chewing gum ;)

The first Willi Wonka / Charlie and the Chocolate Factory never made it to Germany, unfortunately. At least not that I am aware of. Sad, really.

In any case, any new Tim Burton movie is certainly promising. He usually strays from the mainstream BS, does not get too experimental and still makes movies that don't try too hard (yet fail) to throw lots and lots of quick cuts in to artificially create tension (like Timeline - compared to the book its castrated. They could have made it a slideshow with some explosion noise and knights fighting in the BG, it would have been a better movie).

It looks... Interesting. Can't say I like it, but then again, it looks like it may be promising. Only time will tell, I suppose.
Why did they remake it, anyway? I liked the first one quite well.
