New Car Poll

Postby James S » Jan 29, 2005 @ 10:01pm

Which of these cars do you like the best? They're all comparable performance wise, except for one which is slightly faster in the top end. But basically ignore the speed aspect. Just look at comfort, cargo space, and style. They all get basically the same gas mileage, although the Volvo has a lower emissions rating. The Volvo and Saab are both AWD, the GTO is RWD. They all cost the same thing, too, basically. The GTO is about $2k more, so that's negligible. The other two are dead on at $29k

My brother has the S40. It's an extremely comfortable car.

You can't go wrong with Volvo or Honda.
No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive their garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. No, I've never seen that.

Yeah, I'm thinking that the Volvo is the highest quality car of the bunch. I like the looks of the Saab, too, though. And it's cargo capacity seems practical ... although it probably doesn't amount to that much more real space in the long run. I also like the wagon style, too.

Okay guys, I don't know what I was thinking with the GTO. Replace that with the Subaru Legacy. That's a more comparable car. It fits into the same category as the others: AWD, ~$30k loaded, four door...

I think that the Volvo is probably the quietest and most well built of all of them still, though.

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
