Hey all. Was their a lot of hype with this game as it arrived? maybe I missed it, but DAM, what an awesome frikken game. At the moment I am putting FarCry above Half Life 2 and Doom 3 (ahh doom 3 the.. run backwards through the whole game to survive better game!).

I just started playing another Ubisoft title, Brothers In Arms. Very different. any one else had a chance to play this one yet?

Brothers in arms just sucks. It totally sucks compared to any other ww2 game. Mohaa, cod, bf1942, etc..
Far Cry is an excellent game. The graphics are impressive, much better than HL2 in some maps. The story is very interesting, unlike doom3. I think I'm the only who actually finished Far Cry lol.

Doom 3 is amazing. My jaw was on the floor and my heart in my throat the first time I played it. Best graphics Ive seen on XBOX.

I've also finished FarCry. Also Finished Half Life 2, Doom 3, Haven't been able to stand it long enough to finish it. I am due to update my graphics board maybe that'll help

Yea I finished Farcry on challanging difficulty on my first run through it, have to say its my favorite game out of the current crop of FPSs single player wise. I'm attempting to go through it again on Realistic. This game reminded of those old school games near the end, where it gets insanely difficult, and they acctually dont want you to beat the game. I love the challange, most other FPS games are wayyy to easy, like doom3, HL2 was pretty easy too.

As for multiplayer CS source easily takes the cake.

I finished hl2, d3 and farcry. And like you said, Far Cry, in the end, is extremely difficult. One gun, 10 bullets, 100 monsters and an helicopter at 300feet with mini-guns lol. You have to run and run, so intensive!
