You rig please.
Download patch.
Uninstall video drivers completely and reinstall correctly.
No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive their garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. No, I've never seen that.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Well I had a geforce 3 ti-200 128mb with 1.8ghz. Finished Far cry, hl2 and d3 with it, 1024 normal details. I played css, mohaa, cod and brood war  a long time with it. So it should obviously run well. Unless you want some antialiasing on new games. Which my new rig owns completly :).

Yeah, also running XP Pro. sorry about that. I have no idea on what my frame rate is (whats the HL2 command?) but In Enemy Territory of which I play a lot, 1024x768x32 AAx2 90FPS and doesn't back down.

I have a Scorpion case (see through side) with intake fan on the front and on the side, exhaust fan on the back, 400W PSU with 2 fans to push air out of it. CPU temps never reach 50C
