Didn't i say to turn off messenger service in cameron's post?
Right click my computer > manage > services > messenger service properties > stop > disable.
This also prevents you from sending them though.

In the state of washington, unsolicited spam is illegal, some people take the spammers to court and get up to 500$ per spam. Print screen comes in handy here.

It's also strange that it messages to the hostname rather than the ip. I'd think a hostname would be harder to get randomly than an ip, if of course it's an automated program doing it (which i'm sure it is)

hostname and IP are pretty much the same, but if the message sends to a hostname then it feels so much more customized *flashes eyelashes... and stuff*
But I heard about those fake diplomas from AvantGo. What if you ever actually GOT a job with a fake diploma and then were asked to do something that required education!
"Hey, y'all.. I just gots me a LAW DEGREE frum Ehmurry U! I'm gunna soo yuh!"

I shut down messenger in the admin control panel, but I'm still getting these stupid ass things through it. Yes, I hit stop, no I'm not that dumb. How the hell are they still getting through?
