MiniDV to DVD?

I know this is a pocket PC forum, but I thought I'd see if anyone can give me a place to start looking for how to burn DVDs from my miniDV home movies. I have a PC with a pinnacle systems firewire card, and I am going to buy a DVD burner, probably the new sony which handles all the formats. I also have studio DV software and have actually made some avis off the miniDV tape. If anyone can give me some kind of instructions, or a general scheme, or a link, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

If you can make an AVI you can make a DVD, they're about the same thing. FlaskMPEG should have a setting to encode to VideoCD format (or VCD).

I don't know, though. Never done it.
