That's because you have to be of the elite, the upper class, duh. As I said, you have to pay to be apart of the royal banquets and dances, and those people are the only ones that get to have a say in anything. Plus the entire Festival of Lights of the Kingdom of Edisionia, all these events and parades the entire week, are all because of the King and Queen's Ball and the Coronation Ball. The parade is after the Coronation Ball, when the new king and queen are crowned. They're the main float in the parade that goes down US-41. The event is held in Harbour Side Exhibition Center. Not many people DO know about it. There was this big "scandal" a couple years ago. Some black woman sued the Pageant because no black folks were a part of it. You want to know why? Because THEY'RE NOT INTERESTED IN IT. They don't care. That woman didn't even want to be a part of it. She just wanted to try to make a quick buck because she was ignorant. It's open to everyone, but there's a fee. Just like country clubs. There are no black people there because 1) black people dont' want to be in a country club for the most part and 2) because most can't afford it.

UGH! I'm so sick of this racism crap. It offends ME more than it offends those that are supposedly being segregated and stuff. They segregate THEMSELVES. They chose to live on the other side of the tracks. They could move wherever they want to. But they don't want to get a job. They just want stuff and aren't willing to work for it so they try to sue somebody and try to cheat cash that way. They need to spend their time WORKING instead of thinking of ways to steal.

I hope you don't ever talk smack like that when and if you ever are around dark skinned people (AKA Blacks, African Americans, whatever). You will get your 105 pound, blond haired, girly white ass kicked. Moose I hate to say it but your family and you are a bunch of white, rich, snobby, wanna be euro trash. God, I can't stand you people! I can tell that you are trying to not be like that, but you have a long long way to go. Next you will be telling me that your parents have butlers and maids!

I'm not talking smack. I'm talking the truth. Sure there are exceptions, but my home town is the most segregated town in Florida, perhaps the United States. That's the way it is. I'm far from a bigot and hold no prejudice .... about skin color. I may be snobby, but I'm not a bigot and I try harder than most to not be a hypocrite. It's just the way things are in my hometown. But I do hold a prejudice against people that try to cheat their way through life or who won't work for money or who won't help themselves. I'm very strict about this type of thing. I don't give a guy a fish, I teach him how to fish. And if he won't learn then I say screw him he's not my problem anymore.

I enjoy my social and economic status. So what? My parents and grandparents worked how to get that status for me and I'm going to enjoy it. I'm not being snobby at the expense of others and I'm not stingey (sp?) about helping others and I'm not ungrateful and I don't ask for more: I'm content with what I have. And I don't degrade people for things they can't control. I do degrade them for things they can control but won't, because they can change their situation but they chose to sit around and whine. "God, I can't stand those people!"

Just because someone's of color and happens to be the stereotype doesn't mean I'm not going to say what needs to be said to them. Minorities complain ALL THE TIME about supposedly not having equal rights, but then they don't vote on the issues, they don't educate themselves, they don't get a job, they segregate themselves.

Don't tell me I'm a bigot or that I'm talking "smack" because that's far from the truth.
Oh, and TechMage, No one would try anything on me, I've got skills to do more than defend myself. You know those Steven Siegal movies? That's Aikido, and that's what I do.
