My Computer Upgrade Time

I may finally be getting a new computer. I have $1000, and may be getting a job soon. Hanukkah is coming up (ha, a MONTH before Christmas!! HAHAHA!!), and I hope my parents will give me some money. I'm aiming for $300-$500 in compensation from all my relatives and parents. My uncle is rich too. I was think of building my own computer, but I found one that may be cheaper because of shipping costs. Anyway, here's the specs that I want-

-iBuyPower ATX Clear Case with 420watt Power Supply
-AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1.8Ghz Processor
-Asus A7V333 Motherboard (configured PC has MSI KT4VL)
-ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB Video
-512MB DDR-RAM PC2100 (configured PC has PC3200)
-Western Digital 120GB Hard Drive 8MB Cache
-Sony Trinitron 21” E540 Flat Screen (configured PC has 19" Viewsonic flat screen)
-Sony 52x CD-ROM (configured has 16x DVD-ROM)
-TigerDirect 1.44” Floppy Drive (configured PC has Mituko Floppy Drive)
-Microsoft Optical Mouse Blue (configured PC has Microsoft Explorer)
-Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 5.1 with 1394 IEEE
-Creative Labs Inspire 5.1 5300 Speakers (5)
-Misc.- Cables, fans, grills, switches/LEDs, CPU fan, network router and card, etc
-16x CD-R/RW Drive (configured PC has 48x CD-R/RW)

I have all the sites and prices for all this stuff. Right now, my computer is:

Compaq Presario
500Mhz AMD Athlon K7
Whatever Motherboard
128MB RAM
3DFX Voodoo3 3000 16MB Video Card
Integrated Sound Card
Cambridge Sound Works Speakers (3)
40x CD-ROM
2x CD-R/RW (broken)
12GB Hard Drive 5400rpm

So yeah, I need a new computer. The homemade one will cost $1900 without shipping, the manufactured one from iBuyPower.com is $1750 with free shipping til 11/29. The only thing bad about the iBuyPower.com one is the monitor is 2" smaller than the homemade one. The Sony 21" is usually $600, but I found it for $420 and free shipping. The 19" Viewsonic (which actually has a smaller pixel size, 0.21mm, the Sony is 0.24mm) is $260. We'll see.

Or get ready to pay $500+ dollars for the new GeForceFX. I think the most rediculously priced components are processors, you can get a 1.8Ghz for $140, but a 2.13Ghz will cost ya $350!
