I don't think I'm going to go back to this college I'm at next semester. I don't like it here and I don't want to become accustomed to it and then get into a rut, because I tend to do that. So next semester I think I'm going to stay at home, in the garage appartment perhaps, if my cousin moves out (long personal story) and then get a job at the courthouse downtown, it will be like an internship which would be GREAT for my resume. Plus I'm only a couple hours away from being a junior at 18, and I don't want to be one of those howzer dukie people. You can't do anything real before 21 anyway.

But I'm spending $700 a month on going to this college that I DON'T enjoy. I could be making that a month with no expenses, meaning pure income.

I think this is a REALLY good plan. It just conflicts with my dislike for taking time off of school :/. But if I call it an internship then it will be like school, and job experience is very important, and the possibility of money is just really nice.

What do you all think, I want some opinions because this is a big decision.

What college would you transfer to? Would you continue biology? Obviously not if you work at a courthouse... Ha, a sophomore in college that can't even order something over the phone. See if you can get the job first.

In Alberta, Canada here, the legal age for everything is 18. It's sorta cool.

Only 4 more months :) (March)

I'm in Florida Southern College right now (http://www.flsouthern.edu) and I'm going to transfer to University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee (http://www.sewanee.edu).

Y'all have heard me rave about Sewanee and seen the pictues I posted so I won't go on about that here.

I'm thinking Political Science, with an Economics and German dual minor, to become a lawyer eventually. Then when I retire I'll be a professor at some college (hopefully sewanee :)) and write novels on the side. That's my plan. I hope to retire at 50 so I can still have some fun and move to the Mediterranean and actually enjoy it.

I once had a hiking trip leader person who went to University of the South, she really liked it if that means anything.

Ya man, it stinks. I should probably register for classes for next semester... everyone else has since 3 weeks ago :/ But I'm really toying with the idea of staying home and working. We've got an appartment over the barn, too, so I could live there. It's a real apartment, not like Clarke's loft.

[EDIT] LOL! I just go to the college's website to sign up for classes and it WON'T LET ME! I don't know what's wrong. I missed a required Convocation event and they said they'd restrict my registration for next year because of it. Half the make up events they listed were already pass-due. And I emailed them to straighten it out because I was not advised of this event, infact it wasn't even listed on the official school calendar.
Or it may be because I waited too long after the registration period was open so I can't anymore.

Oh well, I'll have to get this fixed... or just intern instead, since I'm already a junior at the age of 18... in college, not highschool :/ There were lots of 18 year old juniors at my highschool :P
