"Amazing news! This week we will have a new linker from Bung in stock that supports SMARTMEDIA so your GBA can store upto and beyond 256megaBYTES! It will be like having a harddisk on your GBA! Imagine that linked up with pogoshell! Will post a review this week - don't worry if you already have an F2A - the new linker is fully compatable, in fact it needs a normal flash card anyway."

Rather than start a new thread, and to answer the last question about the backlight, might as well throw out the link
http://www.gbacentral.net/hardware/gbasp.html
Shows off the new gba model, looks cool, lasts longer, looks brighter.

I have one big concern about the new GBA. It's cramped enough to control as it is! Even when I was 10 years old with a GB Pocket/Color it was still a real pain to control it. Well, it's pretty damn cool, and will certinely be interesting when it comes to market.

Not full speed it can't. Plus this is smaller than a ppc.
