laptop/XP = 14 days no reboot
desktop/XP = 19 days no reboot
server/2K = 127 days no reboot

Yes but the server does not perform tasks as varied as a laptop or desktop machine. These machines constantly install and uninstall new drivers, programs are frequently installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled, files are moved, deleted, and changed, 24/7, and programs run, halt, and restart every second.
Servers simply process and send the same data over and over again.

i think the problem is people forget which audience it is for.

you're trying to do lots of stupid shit on it obviously, coz you're some kind of punk script kiddie, but for the average home user who knows fuck about computers, it'll work fine.
