or not... my school's security sucks!!! i found, well lets just say numerous holes in the network and even reported the 1st few but after the fact that they did nothing to fix it or did not beleive me (god ego of the Admin) I just let them be.... I don't know about you guys but I have free reign on my school net. anyway, the loging my school does is extensive but not of any use because when they do find something te school has no money to pay someone to chase the problem down. prety pathetic really. I take a white hat approach to the whole thing so I only exploit for good... like to get things temporarily working if the server is down or to help my friend to get his computer to boot up (blasted compaq's!!!). Anyway, I hope that nobody here takes advantage of your school network as it is there as an aid not something to trample on.

We have Websense here.. but that's not really a big issue until they block Google. Oh how I love the Google viewer :P

I usually pick up an open proxy, and browse with that since many legit sites are blocked. Never have to log in once.

I got banned from my school comp for a month cause i stole the teacher's password using a vb app that looked exactly like the "run as other user" box in 2k, then my friend got on the server and made an admin account for himself. 2nd time i've stolen the teacher's pw, 1st time was a cheap trick not worthy of going into.

Google cache doesn't work on my school's firewall anymore.

Ya, that's all really stupid. Stealing your teacher's password? That's asking to be expelled. Now if you just burrow through the firewall in order to read VE3D.com then that's fine and practical, but stealing passwords? What did you even plan on doing with it?

I tried to install peacefire, which supposedly works against xstop, but i needed to be an admin to install it. I wouldn't have been caught if my friend didn't get caught on the server.
Plus it's a kind of sport for me, outsmarting someone with that many certifications. After she typed in the password and hit enter, nothing happened, which should have risen some suspicion about it, plus the prog had a little vb icon in the corner since i didn't research how to remove it.

We had fire watchers in our hall because the fire alarms didn't work. They were paid $12.50 an hour to sit around and do NOTHING! They were either 75 years old and couldn't get out of the building fast enough themselves or the 17 year old that dropped out of highschool and wanted to start a fire themselves. And it was a full time job at the price. I was so envious... but hten I realized their lives must be so incredibly horrible to be where they were.

yeah, I have 5MB shared drive space, a coupla' days ago the admin came to me and told me that something was wrong with my drive (she didn't know i hacked it ).

When she checked, I only had 2 GB on that drive... my point is, she clearly overreacted in erasing my drive. Anyway, now i only have a 130 MB drive, (still hacked ), but only because I don't really need any more than that, since most games play real crappy from network drives :D
