The Lord of the Rings is an awesome set of books, and the movies are amazingly accurate and powerful. I don't understand what you couldn't like about them or think is "rubbish." You use that word way too frequently, it's no wonder you're not a happy, content person. You think so negatively all the time and of everything.

I thought the two lord of the rings movies so far have been fantastic.

The only problem is that Elijah Woods is just a little bit TOO camp. Well, for a hobbit, anyway.

thursday night i decided to see harry potter for the first time.

i havent seen either potters or lotr's and i hvent read any of the books - i just hate it all. guess what, i hated it! it absolutely stank. all the way through i kept thinking, "well, 20 minutes in, nothings happened yet, 60 minutes in nothings happened yet"

the acting was terrible absolutely terrible, the special effects! oh my god, this film was released last year right? what the fuck went wrong with the cgi?!? disgusting!

i'm definitely not gonna see the next one, unless its to laugh at of course...

i'm interested in two towers for the music only - that trailer has some great music. but the rest... all this talk of rings and elves and magic and wizards... 'blech' is all i can say. its all crappy crap crap!

I saw the first Harry Potter by accident a couple months ago and I thought it was wonderful! It's so original, there has never been a movie like it before. I couldn't find a thing wrong with the movie, although I think the whole Hairy Potter fad is absurd.

snape (alan rickman) - well you think hes the bad guy then this SHITTY and totally RIDICULOUS twist comes up naming the guy in the turban as the bad guy. what the FUCK was that about?!
