Is this WindowsXP? Can't you just delete things out of their start menu? Or when you install the program doesn't it ask if you want the application's menu to be available to others. Try right clicking on the folders while you're the admin and see if there is such an option.

You'd need a more comprehensive security app. Something like Fortres is what you'd need to stop right clicking and the start menu, instead of just hacks.

There are a bunch of settings in the reg hive

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

here is a good run down
<a href='http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=573&lngWId=7'>http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=573&lngWId=7</a>

some of the keys in that article are obsolete with WinXP but should give you something to go on.

Are you trying to set a computer up as a kiosk?

Sponge is probably right about the best route being a 3rd party app designed to do exactly what you need.

In general it's a good idea to disable the Guest and Administrator account and replace them with different accounts with new names (but still admin and guest group respectively)

Always best to keep em guessing I guess

Okay, I have had third party software, but it messed up my comp. I was just wondering if there are any built-in solutions. Thanks you guys for all your help.

Snails Master out.
