I want to know you guy's opinions about the "The" bands. I greatly dislike any of them, especially the "vintage" ones, like The Strokes, The Vines, The Hives, The White Stripes, The Wallflowers, The Patterns, The Distillers, The Mookey Suzuki, The Exies, etc, they make me vomit convulsively. Speaking of vomiting, there are 2 "The" bands that I think are actually decent. The Used is ok, the singer enjoys vomiting on stage (he does it in the video for Box Full of Sharp Objects). The Used is good, I don't dislike them at all, the singer looks like a little kid face and acts like Andrew WK Jackass. The Donnas is an all girl band, and their ok, Take It Off is a good song, I haven't heard any of the others.

The Grammys are coming up. But as usual, there's just 1 rock category. For best rock, they have System of a Down, Peter Gabriel, KoRn, and Bruce Springsteen in the same category... For best rock performance, there's Slipknot, so they'll probably show Slipknot sitting in the audience looking completely hilarious, like MuDvAyNe at the 2001 VMAs (they had suits on with really bloody bullet holes in their foreheads, lol).

NU METAL RULES! YEAH!

I know The Distillers aren't vintage, I've heard them once and only remembered that it was bad.

Andrew WK is pretty stupid, yelling WE WANT FUN! for a couple minutes while jumping off stupid and getting a bloody face isn't really talentful.. I only used him to describe how the singer for The Used acts, only he can actually sing.

I don't like The Vines' singer, he acts drunk, but not funnily drunk, just annoying, and his "singing", eesh.

I almost forgot to mention basically the whole reason I made this thread. Last night on Saturday Night Live, Avril Lavigne was on, and she actually sang good, much better than her performance at the R&R Hall of Fame.

I've been listening to Lollipop Lust Kill for a few months now, and I just can't stop; it's just so beautiful *starts crying*.

I need a new band though...what about Daylight Dies? Meh... Demon Hunter? nah... I don't know, it's hard finding a good nu metal band, they're all underground music.
