Here'a a personal thought, do you ever feel guilty when you download a program from Kazaa or some filesharing program because you're not paying for it?

Nope.
Did you know that the software industry makes more money than the movie and music industries combined! That's because they charge like $50+ dollar per game! A music CD will cost ya $15, and a movie $10.

Mind you the music industries are still making insane profits based off of raping us up the ass for pricing. They've already been convicted once of price fixing.
You can blame "piracy" for the high prices of PC games (ie, blame the IDSA)

they shouldnt charge so much for cds. especially when the artists only get a small part of that cost.

of anything I thought the movie business would be making the most, I mean $150 million in the first week, but now, thanks to piracy and DVD rips, at least when they come on video or DVD, htey don't sell as much, for those vcds but you won't have those special features, plus most full movies you find on filesharing programs are so small in resoulution that it's not worth the download.
If you like downlaoding full games or isos of them, you can find a lot of them on Kazaa if you search,"deviance, "sharereactor", or "flt".

IRC is way too complicated, and Direc Connect is good but still a little too complicated. Call me crazy but I just wanna open shit up and search for my song and then download it. I find everything I need, and despite it almost completely locking up my computer cuz it sucks so much, I like Kazaa the best.

I'd like to learn how to fully use irc's capabilities...but unfortunately i dunno how to

. Does anyone know any website i could learn all it's features from? Including file sharing? I'd appreciate it.

I mostly use Kazaa, because I'm far too imatient to wait in those long fserve queues. Sometime I can find a serv with open slots and then you can get some nice stuff from IRC, but in general you can get most movies far easier from Kazaa (except the newest releases like cams and stuff).
Kazaa's system is far superior to IRC with multiple sources and stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I like IRC, but Kazaa and other P2P apps like Shareaza are much better suited for filesharing.
[edit]I download much less full games and stuff like that nowadays than I did when I got broadband because I try to buy them instead. It's much more fun playing a game you actually own IMO. So yes I can feel a bit guilty sometimes.

I use the Kazaa Lite "KPP" version. That way my "score" is always 1000 and I get no spyware. Otherwise, yes, Kazaa sucks ass.
I used to use DirectConnect, but I prefer things that can work properly with multiple sources. A friend of mine uses EDonkey and recommends it (I won't use it because it refuses to work through my firewall and I can't be bothered to reconfigure it just to work with EDonkey).
I never actually bother downloading programs (esp. not games, which I tend not to bother with these days). It's normally "stuff you can't get on DVD yet", and if I like it I'll buy it when it comes out.
