Do hair bands count. There were called metal in the 80's, if so as much as I like old metallica, I have to go with motley crew.

Does deathmetal or metalcore count? If so, I'd have to put in my vote for ZAO, my favorite band of all time. You probably haven't heard of them before, but yeah. The fact that the band's name is like that of the Razor Zayo PPC is one of the reasons that I like that PPC (besides the fact that it's faster than the rest in most everything).

naa metal sucks just get a guy who can screaming 2 guys that no 3 notes a drummer on speed and you have a muti million dollar metal band oh and i forgot give it some name like raging shits or fire on walls and there you go.

at first when i read this i was thinking tool but if metallica is considerd metal then they would have to be the best of all time. mostly because they have been around for so long, and they have always been good.
