*sigh* my Gainward card with dual screen output started behaving weird so I had to RMA it. They sent back a better GF4 card, but without support for 2 monitors, so now I'm waiting for a good one.
And, yes dual monitors r0x0rz.
It can be kinda funny to watch anamorphic widescreen movies spanned over 2 monitors, but the space between 'em gets a bit annoying after a while
Windows 2000/XP seem pretty happy to accept any PCI card along with an AGP card I have an AGP GF2 and a PCI TNT2 in my "games" machine at home (and a nice Matrox G400 dual-head on the server).
On the piece of poo on my desk at work I've got the onboard GF2MX and an ancient Matrox Millenium working happily together.
Debugging "onpaint" methods is so much easier with two monitors
Hah, I have 3+ monitors! 2 monitors for regular usage and when I want to work on web pages, etc, a TV for when I want to watch movies or TV shows, and a VCR hooked up to my last port for when I need to get videos I can watch in school.
Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."
Matt: If both LCDs are for games, then forget about it, nothing is really multimonitor friendly. The lag time on new LCDs have been getting a lot better - I know someone who's nearly professional level in Quake3, and he uses a flat panel.
