Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

That's not it at all. They got bugged up on trying to shrink the die size using a smaller process when they weren't ready for it and it wasn't needed, and they're paying the price, while ATI is going to gradually slide into the smaller process slow and steady like because they took their time and are doing it right.

Isn't the Radeon 9700 manufacured on .15 micron, just like NVIDIA cards ever since the GF3? Is the FX manufactured using a .13 process?

Oh... didn't know the 9800 would use a new die process. I thought it's just a slight overclocked 9700.

I'll go shut up now :P

Funny how people bash Nvidia when thier card for the first time ever isn't wining. Well, as far as I have seen the Radeon does not beat the FX out in every benchmark(since thier newer drivers). It is way too expensive though. Hopefully they will just bite the bullet and not charge too much for it. The thing about Nvidia is your always going to have good drivers. I have heard/witnessed many driver nightmares with ATI cards. They did have hangups, but now they should be riding easy for thier next gen card. They won't be behind for very long.....

Haha, I can say with full confidence that my subject-changing conspiracy worked :D

I never bashed NVIDIA... I only said the FX kinda sucks, which seems to be the general consensus.
