Orpe and Sandman, you definately raise good points. But it still leaves us without an ultimate truth.

I mean, there MUST be something that we can all agree on as an ultimate truth, or at least acceptable as such, or else nothing is EVER solvable.

While, in general, I agree with most all you say, I tend to think that the ultimate agreeance lies not in emotion, but in instinct. Survival of the species and the self.

Though, it leads to a next valid step. Even if there isn't an ultimate right and wrong, in order to live in a civilized society, there has to be a general acceptance of base rules.
Like, "We hold these truths to be self-evident...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

If nothign else, than at least this must be an acceptable base.
