Nutcracker Reviews

Matt,

It's not really 'levels'. The 'world' is divided in sections, about 7 of them, varying in size.
About the size of the game: Before bashing that, have a look at the average amount of screens in the typical PocketPC game nowadays. On the day that I released The Nutcracker I noticed that some other company released some kind of tetris thing, priced also at $20. I bet it will sell just as well as my game.
I guess it was risky to do a game that is solely content based; it's very hard to deliver that much screens and stuff. I myself believe the game is big enough for it's price, but you're of course free to argue that. :)
But to be on the safe side, my next game will probably we nice and small and based on one of the Atari classics, since that's what everyone seems to like. Oh yeah, and it will feature babes. That sells REALLY well, I heard.

- Jacco.

Jacco, when I bust some of the drones in the demo and go out of the screen then come back, they have respawned. Does that happen in the game too? It's annoying.

Yes, they respawn, except for some that I intentionally keep away after killing. Each screen is more or less a stand-alone puzzle. You are not supposed to kill them by the way. :)
