look! the files for blake stone and wolf 3d are almost identical.

all the files for wolfenstein end in .WL6, and all the files for blake stone end in .BS6.

the games both use the same engine, look at the menus, look at the gameplay, its all the same!

i think its something to look into..

Blake Stone is indeed based off the Wolf3D engine, however 3DRealms have yet to release the engine source code to it. There was a follow-up named Blake Stone Planet Strike, which also remains sourceless, making porting impossible.

yes, but since the files are so similar. wouldnt it just be editing the wolf3d source code to go with the blake stone files? i mean its not editing the actual .bs6 files, only the .exe, so cant the wolf3d exe go with blake stone if edited?

No. The Wolf3D engine itself has code built into it specific to the game data. This was before id Software developed a truly multi-purpose game engine (Doom), so certain things were hard-coded into the Wolf3D software.

You could always e-mail 3D Realms, but outside of that, not really.
