Learn C++ first, then do the fixed point conversions, then learn mips asm, and then do the mips asm conversions for quake.
And then it'll be considered.
I don't think there is really a need for it, considering nobody is really developing for it at the moment, or anytime soon.
As soon as someone actually steps up and makes a huge difference from v.062 and puts out (i.e. actually does it, and releases it), then it might be considered.
There is too much, 'Hey! I've got a great idea for a game! I know some apple basic, and I'm leaning eVB, and I read an article on C+ once, so give me a forum!' lately.
And there is also too much, 'Okie dokie, we'll give you something for free, before you've even proven yourself or shown anything!' from pmatrix as well.
This needs to stop.
