Ya, man. I'm thankful for a LOT of things even though my life isn't as good as I'd like it to be because I know how things work for the better even in the worst situations.
BUT! I found out WHY I'm depressed, and ALL of us! It's because we never played sports in school, or atleast not enough!
This is why I started lifting weights a year ago. Exercise releases serotonin into the bloodstream. Depression is caused by a lack of serotonin. So I knew that if I exercised more then I'd have a better state of mind.
This is why we're depressed. Because we never DID anything physically. Clinical tests confirmed that 3 hours of exercise a week is equivalent to antidepressant drugs. Exercising after 16 weeks and it works better than antidepressants because your muscles become stronger and release more serotonin to your brain!
Everyone should exercise anyway! An when you get all buff you feel better about yourself on top of that!
