There have been a couple failed movements to get reduced copyright for computer software.. considering how fast PCs evolve, 50 years is WAY too much.

You Can have a law agenst everything but that doesnt mean jack. We have laws agenst murdur but does that stop people...no. We have copyright laws agents copying stuff. It doesn't matter what you say YOU CANT DO JACK SHIT to stop people from downloading roms. I dont see why these companys should care so much about old abandond systems. they arn't making them anymore so there for they arn't making any mony off of them.
