You are so stupid Moose. Like a fucking online petition will get them to play Public Enemy's video. I love how she randomly capitalizes words, that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I also love how they do it on behalf of the black community. MTV plays videos made by BLACK PEOPLE. It is not MTV's fault that BLACK RAPPERS assault BLACK WOMEN in their music videos. Plus I do not see how "violence" is exacted upon black women more than white women on MTV. Maybe it's because white bands have the decency not to trivialize women.

Though MTV is being hypocritical here, the petition is stupid.

Perhaps, but I like the deeper point of the petition, not necessarily the superficial causes. I don't even know who Public Enemy is :/

I don't watch MTV, so I really don't care. But I do have a related question.

On my new satellite broadband connection, I have a cap of 1GB per month. How much will this affect listening to online radio/television. How much would a 15 minute show weigh in at?

MTV kicks ass dude. And if you watch any music videos at all, you'd notice how (not trying to be racist) most black videos are more violent than white videos. We sing about sappy lovey dovey crap (lots of exceptions), while most black music on MTV is violence, and growing up in the ghetto.

Ya, Cam. That's not racist at all and I agree. I used to watch MTV back in my sophomore year of high school, but it lost all its appeal in about 2 months time, same boring thing over and over again.
