I was in bestbuy today and say something called Dataplay. it was this little thing, about the size of a sm card but could hold 500 megs 8O 8O 8O and only it costs $33 for 3 of them.

Does anyone know if they have a dataplay to compactflash converter, it would be a great alternative to the expencive cf cards.

Looks like it's a type of CDR-slash-HD with it's own special hardware. I don't think it works like that. They mention 'burning' to it, and a special burner product to get it done with.

OK, then that would be a better decision.

But then, as Solarix suggested, you could get a HD MP3 player and hook it up to your car's audio-in port. Unless that CF player you mentioned is ultra-cheap, it'll be much more cost-effective.
