Exactly

Ok ok, I guess I'll have to tell the story. Back in 1994 or 5, the Berlin Museum *gasp* in Berlin, required of VW to make a car for their art display, so they did; they made 4 versions of the Polo in multicolor, called the Harlequin Edition. The art design was such a hit that VW made it a limited edition of only a few Polos in Europe. Those sold so fast (there were only 50) that they decided to make a real big special edition. In 1996, VW made 2500 Polos for Europe, and made 250 Golfs. Out of those 250 Golf Harlequins made, only 50 were exported to the US and Canada, and yes, I own one of those 50 VW Golf Harlequin Editions. Most people obviously think I did the paint job myself, but I'm not that stupid to do that, nor stoned enough. So yes, IT IS FACTORY PRODUCTION, VW actually made that, actually sold it, and I actually got one. I didn't buy it new, I bought it in October 2001 from a dealer who bought it from the original owner. I bought it from the dealer through eBay. Luckily the dealer was in Albany, so it wasn't far away. Because I bought it right after 9/11, who was going to buy a car on eBay? So I got it for a mere $6300, a hilariously good deal. A NORMAL '96 Golf goes for $8000, and a Harlequin? At least $15000. I saw one sell once for $23000 in 1999. So there you have it, the 1996 VW Golf GL Harlequin Edition with 115hp, 0-60 in 8.5s (may be faster, never tested it myself), 115lb-ft torque, inline-4, 34mpg, top speed 140mph (my dad proved that...).

See Moose!! SEE!!! Can you say no to that car? Of course not! You see why I want to park at school, in a parking lot full of late '80s silver rust buckets and a couple Mustangs. This girl I know just got a new Ford Expedition and she pissed off because the sun roof isn't big enough for her, what a spoiled whore. I'm the only person at my school that paid anything for their car. I know kids that have 3 cars. God, I can't stand people like that. They just talk about how theit parent buy them 3 cars and they complain about crank windows.
