BT is great for some things but what we need is a standard P2P WiFi protocol so we don't need a access point (technically this can already be done but is not supported... check 802.11* security docs for how)

I vote for 802.11g: which is faster but cleaner
-speed: 54mb/s (note: this is not 802.11a!!)
-protocols: similar to 802.11b but with more security protocol functions

if not that then go for 802.11b.
1 + 1 = 3 for large values of 1.
Now clean of all Crash code :)

Wha we need is a higher speed BT or maybe variable speed BT (less power for lower speeds when you don't use the bandwidth and more power consumption when you need speed over battery)

??? any wireless engineers listening in ???

oh well... dreaming on again.

How fast is BT anyway? Thought it's fast enough for gaming.

I hear its like 96kbps. Could play current PPC games and legacy games without hitch.

Theoretically 768kbps, but you get nowhere near that. 96kbps, sadly, sounds right.
