Gaming questions

Postby damian » Dec 6, 2002 @ 6:35am

Gladiating (is that a word?) was thought of as OK back then... but it was wrong and it is wrong.

For some weird reason, I'm actually siding with Moose on this one. :?

However, I do agree that for some topics there is no clearly defined right or wrong. I'd say premartial sex, but that would just add more flames to the argument you guys are having.

On another note, anyone know of a good review of the Axim gaming-wise (or just a good review, period)?

Yeah, I read that one, but it didn't mention the quality of the D-Pad at all, and didn't talk about the performance of the 300 MHz one (which I'm getting).

Yeah sorry 'bout that my zeal on certain issues comes through easy

But it the greatest philosophical arguement of all time.

Frankly Moose I completely argee with you on most of your points about what is good or bad, but that wasn't my point. I was just saying that morals (no matter what yours or mine are) are not set. They really are just the happy medium people arrive at.

Everyone has different views on whats morally correct. Seeing as were looking at both ends of the spectrum in this thread, continuing this argument is pretty pointless, imo.

No, there are set laws and morals codes that no one breaks. No one thinks it's ethically okay to go kill someone, even if he or she is a psychopathic serial killer he knows it's wrong.

In some cases, everyone thinks the same way ethically, by law or what-have-you. But not all cases.

Um, lets see...stealing. Is it ok to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family? Some say yes, some say no. Theres a law against stealing, but some people still think it is ok.
