Probably not. If it does, it will have reduced power. The amount of power it will need to do what it promises will suck up a laptop battery in no time. From the pictures ive seen, it will need to be connected to the AGP port and a 4 pin power cable.

Im saving up money if this card is all it is hyped up to be. Too hard to resist. Yay, new computer :) A laptop version of the FX would be cool too.

Your comparing video cards that are 2 or 3 generations apart, using processors that are far from that, making it without a doubt that a video card upgrade would be better, despite that not always being the case. I'm arguing because he's being misled down a path.

Uhm... I'm using the two sides of the currently available laptop components. And does this somehow negate the fact that a graphics card is a cheaper and better upgrade than a CPU?

There are no mobile versions of the Nvidia GPUs between Geforce2 and Geforce4. Also, the Radeon9000 Mobility is faster than the Geforce4, so it is the top of the line.

You're argument, thus far, has been ad hominem. I have nothing to disagree because you've made no opposing argument.

The top of the line GPU and a slower CPU is cheaper and faster than an older GPU and a top of the line CPU.

Lets just say it depends on what speed the processor is and how fast the graphics card is. End of argument, everyone is happy again :)
