When I was in Japan, I was actually amazed at how many people didn't speak English. Once we went up to a guy and asked him directions, and he just stood there and said "Hi, how are you?", and laughed. It was hilarious. I actually was pleased that not many of them spoke English, hopefully trying to end the American imperialism there. There's tons of American flags in Japan, I even heard a song in Japanese, with an English chorus that said "Welcome to America!" over and over.

I'm moving to Switzerland for sure, complete neutrality. I heard somewhere that their "army" rides on bicycles because it's better for the environment...

[edit]Who here thinks that the US may go to war with Iraq as simply vengence?

Warren, cuz of the criticism I've received elsewhere, I'm toning down my arguments, but all that I ask is that you abandon the completely factless argument of "we are going to war with Iraq to save a penny on gas", or worse, "we are going to war with Iraq for vengeance." Just what exactly are we avenging? We won the war, and BY CHOICE did not kill Saddam. Don't write off Bush that fast, you're just buying into all of the anti-Bush bullshit that has spread so fast. So Bush is not allowed to make any decisions, but it's perfectly fair for liberals everywhere to completely make things up about him?
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

Moose, the Rwandan Genocide, the Armenian genocide, the Cambodian genocide, and if you want to stretch it, you can say the slaughter of Native Americans was a genocide. None of these were actually completely "successful" fortunately. And why do you think that can't happen here? History repeats itself. Nothing is impossible.

And Village Ideot, why does your pictures say "CNN OBEY." on it?

On the news, they had a video of North Korean flag twirlers, and OMG, it was cool! There were like millions of them, with selections of different colors, and they'd make big waves go across like dominoes. It was cool. 8)

Armenians are still around. Aren't they over there by Pakistan or Turkey?
