That's not the point... the point is that some programs programs can be optimized for XScale to handle less memory and to take advantage of the extra cache.

Ya, PIM apps I suppose, to speed up data retrieval by a couple milliseconds.

XScale optimizations provide no or extremely little real world benefit.
