Fastest SNES Emulator?

does the frame rate suck that bad? I mean Spawn and Age of empires have better graphics than any SNES game. I know its the whole thing of not designed for the PPC, but are RPGs on it playable. Right now i am going through FFIII again on PocketNester, and the frame rate is great.

Well, it can. I really can't or don't play any action games. It's playable technically, but not pleasantly in my opinion. Strategy and RPGs though work fine. Sometimes they can go a little slower at times than their cartridge console counterparts, but speed isn't quite as essential with them. Those two genres are the only ones I play on the SNES emulators (e.g. Romance of the Three Kingdoms 3 & SNES's Final Fantasy II American).

Final Fantasy 2 was on SNES? I thought it was NES.
