First, I did the chapter, but I'm not going to do an outline, I never have and won't, I mean, wow, p=mv, not hard to memorize.
As for History, it's a he, and yes, he DOES read EVERYTHING obsessively! You can't imagine Moose. A few weeks ago, I had to do 100 vocab words, paragraph each, and when I got it back, there was more of his writing than mine on it!! They weren't necessarily correction, usually just silly comments, but it proves that he obsessively reads this crap.
My school is obviously different than yours Moose. You wonder why over 75% of the guys have never gone on a date like me; it's because everyone is too busy all the time. My entire History class today was complaining that a good chunk of the class didn't go to bed til around 2:00AM last night, and the teacher just says "hey, I was up til midnight watching Jay Leno, I feel your pain". Everyone in the high school has been completely and utterly burned out for the past 2 years. The redness in people's eyes at my school aren't only from drugs, but mostly from sleep deprivation, constant stress for the past 2.5 years, and the general sick feeling of extreme monotony and depression.
I don't really overachieve, I just try to get an A. If anything, I underachieve, doing pointless assignments half-fast. Like the physics vocab, I did that real quick because I know she won't look at it, but just check it off. My History teacher expects everyone in the class to go to the local library to check out this list of books on a weekly basis. No one does that, it's completely stupid, and we pay for it on tests when he puts questions about the books on them.
A few months ago, like November, my chem class when to UMASS Amherst on a field trip thing, and we saw a former student that went to my school. He said that college, as compared to my school, is quote "a joke, it's ridiculously easy". College is supposed to be hard, it'll be hilarious if it turns out to be "a joke".
