Kyle, holy shit. Think about what you're saying. In WWI, there were a whole bunch of causes of war:

Militarism, alliances (many countries had secret alliances which dragged them into the war), nationalism, imperialism (disputes over colonies, especially in Africa and Asia), and THEN the assassination. That was the spark, but the hydrogen and oxygen were already there for the explosion.

And comparing us to WWII-era Germany is ludicrous. We are absolutely nothing like it. No wonder "the rest of the world" hates us; they're ignorant.

(Preemptive strike against criticism for that: no, not everyone in the rest of the world is ignorant, but here's SiGen being a dumbfuck and France and Germany joining him... A lot of the world is ignorant; they just don't KNOW what the US is like, whether from propoganda by their rulers or lack of education.)
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

Haha... you're both idiots (not you warren [edit] nope, nevermind, you too for saying UK is safer than America). It's called support, not sheepism, peace, not expansion. Just because we use arms doesn't mean we're not doing things for the peace of the world. And I've had my time to voice my concerns about the war, but that time is over and war needs to be done. Just because you think you're intellectual powers are greater than the man we elected as president and all of his staff and all of the senate and house and just because you think you know more about the situation then your opinion is greater than the leader of our nation? Riiight, you're an ignorant fool if you think Bush just tossed a coin and decided to go to war today.
