Kyle, holy shit. Think about what you're saying. In WWI, there were a whole bunch of causes of war:
Militarism, alliances (many countries had secret alliances which dragged them into the war), nationalism, imperialism (disputes over colonies, especially in Africa and Asia), and THEN the assassination. That was the spark, but the hydrogen and oxygen were already there for the explosion.
And comparing us to WWII-era Germany is ludicrous. We are absolutely nothing like it. No wonder "the rest of the world" hates us; they're ignorant.
(Preemptive strike against criticism for that: no, not everyone in the rest of the world is ignorant, but here's SiGen being a dumbfuck and France and Germany joining him... A lot of the world is ignorant; they just don't KNOW what the US is like, whether from propoganda by their rulers or lack of education.)
