Bluetooth isn't the same as WiFi. Smaller bandwidth, lower range, lower power, etc.

If stick-out WiFi antennas weren't needed or practical, they wouldn't exist. It's not like all manufacturers would put them there for no reason whatsoever.

All manufacturers put bluetooth antennaes there for no reason, then.

And if bluetooth were lower range and lower power that means the signal would be more proned to interference and blocked/obstructed signal, and thus an antenna would be needed even more, yet my Socket bluetooth card proves otherwise.
