Well if it's just to find out what's running at what, i'd rather use an app than restart.

Why not just look in the Device Manager?

I KNOW it's running at 1.1ghz; I can see it when it boots. I'm just not sure what it's SUPPOSED to be.

Sponge, you might have to get inside your box and check the motherboard for some jumpers or switches that control the CPU multiplier. I'd bet that'd be the issue.
Hmmm... I'm running an Athlon T-bird (T-bred?) 1.33 Ghz, and I'm thinking of upgrading. (Well, after I upgrade from my 5400 RPM 20GB drive) What would you guys reccomend as a good processor? I know I'm going to get *at least* a 2000+

Damian, are you sure? I have a T-bird and I can overclock the thing just fine using the multiplier. And an Athlon XP running it's bus speed at 100Mhz? Geez sakes, that down to Duron speed. I'd bet that he could re-clock it.

Mechcommander: I hear the 2100+ is highly overclockable, kinda makes me feel stupid for almost buying 2100, but going with 2000 instead. Barton 2500 is also highly o/c-able.

I would go with the 2700+ 333 FSB it's the best deal for the price IMHO.
