I am currently just finishing up my acne treatment, it did quite a nice job, especially since I didn’t always remember to take it(I am really bad at that). I could have done without all the blood test, but I sort of got used to it. I suffered mostly from very very dry lips/scalp/arms. I took it in the winter mostly, when everyone is dry anyways, so it got pretty ugly. The dryness would make it near impossible to shave without irritating the hell out of my skin. I would recommend it, if you don’t have acne that bad, then they won’t put you on that high of a dose, so you aren’t going to be at that high of a risk for all of these side effects. They put me on 40mg pills, dunno if that’s allot or what. The package the stuff comes in looks like birth control or something; it has a bunch of pictures of a pregnant woman with a circle and cross through it.

I've just got off some light prescription pills, and now I'm back on Differin Cream and Dalacin. My face is fairly clear now...

WOH! This Accutane stuff is GREAT! I've only been on it a day or so, but it makes me feel all perky and happy! Why does everyone keep saying you'll want to kill yourself if you take Accutane?! And how it dries you out? Well that was GREAT too! I usually felt soggy by lunch time during the day, but I've gone all day and not a single slimmy moment! My eyes are a little blinky with my contacts in, but oh no... *gasp* the horrors! So much controversy :roll:

Huh, must be like Ritalin. It acts as a downer to some, but has the opposite effect on others.

Ya, it's like 100% hormonal. That's why there are so many side effects and so many different side effects for everyone. But I'm like super peppy and happy, but I feel I'm going to crash tonight at around 10:30 since I've been so alert and happy the entire day. Just one dose and I'm more confident, feel better all around... I didn't even think about having acne all day. I used to avoid resting my head on my hands because of my acne, but I found myself doing that twice today. It feels like my acne is already gone! I FEEL GREAT!
