Day 34 of treatment.
-Mood swings come much more easily than they used to.
-Dry skin doesn't seem to be a problem anymore with the use of lotion in the morning, but chapstick and eye drops are still necessary. My eyes do get sore by days end, so I've decided to get my contacts out when I get home from work just to be on the safe side.
-Upper back pain is still there, but only hurts when I bend over or lie down in bed. Nothing that stops me from doing ANYTHING physical. I still weight train every other night (well, technically it's resistance training), and I walk up and down 12 flights of stairs every day.
About this irritability thing that everyone is so scared of, it seems to me that I must be acting more hostile because my mom gets mad at me a lot and blames it on the accutane, but I truly think that she's just trying so hard to find symptoms that she's inflating them herself. Or I could actually be a jerk now, but I don't feel like a jerk. In fact I'm generally more jovial, or atleast that's how I feel.
But anyway. Acne has severly decreased. In the last 3 days it has gone from nearly no change since the height of the flare up to better than it's been at any point in the last 6 months ... in a matter of 3 DAYS! So I guess it's finally kicking in. Or it could have been helped by the steroid and anti-biotic (prednisone and septra ds) that my dermotologist gave me a few days ago. I'm proceeding with the treatment, and I'll keep you apprised I suppose.
[edit] NEW SYMPTOM... severe sensitivity. *ouch* (well... or *mmmmhmmm*, depends on what's happening... but it's usually *ouch*, not *mmmhmmm*

)
