Have any of you heard the new Finger Eleven album? I didn't know they came out with a new album. It sounds pretty good to me, like a mix between Sublime and Linkin' Park ... the good parts of both bands, not the bad.

Check out some samples from their new album on

The album appears to be self-titled.

The Faint is decent. Some good no-wave music, but nothing to write home about.

Just heard it on the radio: The Fountains of Wayne "Stacy's Mom". It's frickin hilarious

Some of you guys would like a band called Appleseed Cast -- but you have to be careful which album you listen to. Get something off of Low Level Owl I or II (it's a two-disc set sold separately). I'd suggest "On Reflection" or "Mile Marker." It's basically atmospheric pop that's pretty unique. Listen to it a couple times cuz it doesn't grab you right away -- unlike Fountains of Wayne, it doesn't grab you right away, and it doesn't suck.

I just got t.A.T.y. - 200 по встречной , which is the original Russian release of 200km/h In The Wrong Lane. All the songs are in Russian, and there's several more songs that aren't on the Europe/US release. Also, all the songs, like Я сошла с ума (All The Things She Said [I've Lost My Mind]) and Нас не догонят (Not Gonna Get Us), actually have different music than the newer English release (they have those 2 songs on the English release also in Russian, but are still different than from the Russian album), Я сошла с ума even has some acoustic guitar in it, really cool. EVERYBODY must download Досчитай до ста (Doschetai Do Sta), it's not on the English album, but it's REALLY good! I gave the English release a perfect 10/10 (which I very rarely do), and I think the Russian release may be just as good (the sound quality sounds a little budget, but good nonetheless).
