I'm fairly certain that what he's trying to do is illegal... why not quietly pass his name and address on to the relevant authorities?

Also, why would he use a false name / address? If he wants to make money, then it won't work without his address/ ;P

Pyramid schemes are indeed, illegal, in most countries - in the UK they certainly <a href="http://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=227900">are</a>.
