Reading in a Pocket PC

I read all the harry potter books on my ppc along with some classics ( I just re-read the Catcher in the Rye on my 2215 last night ). If you plan on reading for long periods of time I recommend turning the brightness down to maybe half or a little above since full brightness burns after a few hours lol. I would rather read from an actual book if I had the choice... but to answer your question , reading a book on a ppc is fine and you shouldn't really have any problems with the screen/res.

I read constantly on my Axim. I converted the notes my Professor sent out to the class into .lit form, and use my Axim as a text book. I am also almost finished with the Amber series.

It will only read .lit books. If you like Sci-Fi, try the free e-books at . has a good amount of free e-books, too.

If you go to the Microsoft Reader site ( I believe), there area bunch of free tools (both first- and third-party, IIRC) for converting documents into .lit files.
