Whatever you do, dude, DON'T POP your pimples. That's the worst thing you can do! It makes them infested even worse, take it from someone that has popped more than his fair share. What you need to do is dry them out. If you don't pop a pimple it will be gone in well under 3 days. If you pop it then it will be red and nasty for a week plus.
What you do is buy a carton of Epsom Salt. Plug your sink, then pour about a quarter cup of epsom salt into your sink. Then put in about 4 cups of steaming hot water. Wait until the epsom salt mixes into the water so it's no longer crystals, then get a washcloth and soak a bit of the water into it, squeeze it a little so it's not dripping, then hold it against your pimple for 15 to 25 seconds. Do this AFTER you have washed your face, do not wash or rinse your face off afterwards (btw, Phisoderm works great, the kind with Vitamin A,E, and Chamomile. I think it's the body wash kind). Preferably do this at night before you go to bed. This will dry the suckers out in no time, and then you won't scar. This works very well, try to do it every night so you keep the pimples dry. But don't overdry your face, because the accutane will do that without your even trying. You might want to put a bit of moisturizer on if your skin gets so dry that it's uncomfortable, but don't over do it with the moisturizing or that will clog your pores.
But TRY not to pick at your pimples. That's the worst thing you can possibly do. Take it from someone that had cystic acne, the worst kind. Read about acne, don't eat a lot of chocolate (it does affect your acne), don't drink a ton of caffinated sodas (caffeine free icetea is awesome), and EAT SALAD and broccolli. The fiber in salad will flush out your system so bad chems don't get trapped in your skin, and broccolli will give you good calcium and more fiber to keep your muscles healthy so they don't draw chemicals away from your skin. If you eat a lot of steak then try toning it down and eating more chicken. Steak has a ton of elements in it that will mess with your skin's chemistry. Fish is good, but don't eat more than one fish meal a week at the absolute most.
